Monica C. Robinson, OD is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, and the Southern California College of Optometry, where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree. She completed internships at the Brentwood Veterans Administration Eye Clinic and the Center for the Partially Sighted in Santa Monica.
Dr. Robinson also held internships with the Allergan Research Clinic at Irvine, California, Norton Air Force Base, USAF Optometry Clinic, and the Bureau of Blind Services, State of Nevada. She is currently active as a clinical sub-investigator conducting several studies in new drug and device development.
Dr. Robinson has been in both private optometric and general ophthalmology practices in Sacramento since 1988. Before joining Sacramento Eye Consultants, she was responsible for comprehensive primary care optometry with a multi-disciplined medical clinic. At Sacramento Eye Consultants, she specializes in comprehensive eye care: examining, diagnosing, treating, and managing diseases and disorders of the eye. She also recruits and follows patients for clinical research studies. Dr. Robinson is currently a member in good standing of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, and the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society.
Dr. Robinson lives in Sacramento with her husband and two teenagers. She is a sportswoman, enjoys gourmet cooking, choral music, gardening, and loves the outdoors.
