Dr. Cheatle is a highly skilled optometrist with a diverse background and extensive experience in the field of optometry. She completed her undergraduate studies at UC Irvine, earning a BS in neurobiology before pursuing her Doctor of Optometry at the UC Berkeley School of Optometry. Following her education, she completed a residency in ocular disease at the Boston VA Healthcare System.
Dr. Cheatle has honed her expertise through her work at Atrius Health, where she practiced alongside a multidisciplinary team of eyecare and healthcare providers for 5 years. Her experience includes primary care optometry, fitting glasses, soft and RGP lenses, as well as medical management of conditions such as diabetes, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. Additionally, she has significant experience in post-surgical care for patients undergoing procedures such as cataract surgery and refractive surgery (LASIK/PRK).
Recently, Dr. Cheatle relocated back to the Bay Area with her husband and their puppy, seeking to be closer to family. Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys a variety of hobbies including running, hiking, ceramics, ballroom dancing, and cooking and baking. Dr. Cheatle values spending quality time with family and friends, and brings this same warmth and care to her professional practice.
